Everyone whom wishes to use Quickpay’s services needs to have a user at Quickpay. A Quickpay user is individual and follows the creator. We therefore advise that each person that needs to access Quickpay, create their own user, using their individual mail.
An individual mail would be something like ‘david@myshop.com’ and NOT ‘mail@myshop.com’
There are 2 types of users for a Quickpay account. Person-users and system-users.
A person-user is a real human being, that through this user can control and administrate a Quickpay account.
A system-user only has the permissions to do specific actions. Usually this type of user is used for shop systems.
If you want other people to have access to your Quickpay account, it is possible to invite extra users to your account.
This could be a bookkeeper, or maybe your accountant. It is also possible to give individual permissions for each user, so they only can read and change exactly the things you want them to.
Users whom need full access, can be set as Owner. Please note that an owner user has all rights, and can therefore also delete an account.
Go to Settings > Users, and click Invite user
From our example, input your accountants mail address. The accountant will now receive an email, to setup a user at Quickpay (if they do not already have one), and accept the invitation from your account.
Click the “user” that have just been added, and navigate to Permissions.
Activate the desired permissions for your accountant.
If the accountant only needs access to the payments, check the box for /payments and /payments/:id ud for GET
If the new user needs full rights, click the Owner switch.
