Vipps MobilePay ePayment is a payment method used on mobile devices and can be considered a digital Wallet. The payment method is usable when making purchases online and in some physical stores. Vipps MobilePay ePayment is usable in most of the Nordic countries, and in all the local currencies as well.

Agreement with Vipps MobilePay

To Accept payment with Vipps MobilePay ePayment it is required to have an agreement with Vipps MobilePay. You can submit your application to Vipps MobilePay directly from the Quickpay manager to automatically have it set up when your agreement has been approved. If you already have an agreement with Vipps MobilePay for Payment, please reach out to us, so that we can help with integrating with oyour Quickpay merchant.

Setting up Vipps MobilePay ePayment

To apply for an agreement with Vipps MobilePay, go to your Quickpay manager. Navigate to Settings → Acquirers in the menu. Find Vipps MobilePay. Fill in your VAT no. and click Sign-up and complete the application once you have been redirected to Vipps MobilePay. Whenever Vipps MobilePay accepts your agreement, you have to come back into the Quickpay Manager in order to finalize the setup. When that is done, you are ready to process payments with Vipps MobilePay ePayment.

Vipps or MobilePay?

Vipps and MobilePay ePayment is a multibranded payment method. depending of which currency your payment is in. For Payments in DKK and EUR the payment method is branded as MobilePay targeting customers in Denmark and Finland. For payments in NOK and SEK the payment method is branded Vipps targeting customers in Norway and Sweden.

Be aware that currently Quickpay only supports integration with a single agreement for Vipps MobilePay, meaning that your Quickpay Merchant is only able to receive payments with a single currency, which will be the currency defined by your Vipps MobilePay agreeement.
