The charter, run by the Association for Equal Access, encourages businesses to embrace diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as guiding principles. By signing, Unzer joins a growing network of organizations in Denmark working together to promote equal opportunities and support employees from all backgrounds.
François Vachon, Managing Director of Unzer’s Danish entities, says: “Diversity isn’t a box we tick – it’s the spark that makes our teams better. When people with different perspectives sit at the same table, the conversation changes, and so does the outcome. That’s what we want to cultivate every day.”
Stefanie Hohenstatt, Vice President People and Culture at Unzer, adds: “Inclusion is not a project with a deadline; it’s a daily practice. Signing the Charter is one way of holding ourselves accountable, but the real work happens in the small, everyday choices that create a culture of respect and belonging.”
This step builds on other initiatives at Unzer that put Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into action. Earlier this year, the company signed the Luxembourg Women in Finance Charter and the German Diversity Charter, with plans to join the Austrian Diversity Charter next.
Beyond formal commitments, Unzer actively promotes inclusion every day. Employees have access to resources that support mental well-being, and programs like #IamRemarkable help challenge self-promotion bias. Engagement and feedback are encouraged at all levels, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. The company also fosters a strong speak-up culture, where employees can raise concerns freely and respectfully, whether through formal whistleblower systems or open conversations in daily interactions. With these actions, Unzer, Quickpay, and Clearhaus underline their belief that diversity and equality are not optional values – they also strengthen the company and its people.
