Security within Quickpay
Payment using creditcard via Quickpay happens via a Nets approved and PCI-certificeret payment solution.
QuickPay's Payment solution is using SSL-encryption in all communication to Nets. Likewise are SSL-encryption used in communication between the customers and the server, where Quickpay is located. This means, that all information, sent using the internet, are encrypted with a security-certificate. This makes it impossible to get a hold on the customers card information.
PCI-certification
QuickPay is one of the few danish paymentgateways with full PCI-certification.The purpose of the PCI-standard is to use an international standard on how creditcard data is handled. The standard defines the requirements for storage, transmission and handeling of carddata - and how to check that requirements are met.
Both consumers and webshops benefit from the improved safety requirements laid down by the new PCI Certification. By shopping with the suppliers who have got PCI certification you reduces the risk of fraud in the shop and gives users a greater sense of security as a customer.

SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer and its a securityprotokol. SSL makes sure that date are being encrypted in communication between your customers, your shop and other that are involved in the order. The function SSL is integrated in your customers browser. The function will become activated, when the customer are shopping on your site, if it have an SSL solution. No ekstra requirements is needed for your customers to install to use the SSL.eDankort & 3-D Secure
QuickPay also support both eDankort and 3-D Secure payments. These options are the best way, as the owner, to secure yourself against abuse because it gives you a safe indication of the cardholder.With eDankort og 3-D Secure the customer pays via Nets and VISA/Mastercard. The advantage for the customer is they dont have to type in card details, and the advantage for the shop is that they get an identity of the customer.
