Nets has a number of requirements that your shop must meet to get an agreeement
Terms and regulations
When you apply for a merchant agreement, you will receive a copy of the terms and regulations to which the agreement is subject. However, we explain a number of requirements that you must fulfil before receiving an agreement.- Your company and business must be able to document its rules on authority to sign.
- Neither your company, business, owners or management must be entered in the RKI Kreditinformation A/S register of bad debts.
Products and services not sold in accordance with the international merchant agreement
Note that merchants selling pornographic films, pictures etc which are displayed or downloaded from the internet against payment by credit card may not make use of the merchant agreement for international payment cards from Nets International. The same applies to clubs etc providing access to the same services through the sale of memberships. Please note that the merchant agreement may not be used for any activities damaging the brand and image of Nets International and the card organisations, including for example the distance selling of prescription medicine, illegal dietary supplements, tobacco products, illegal games, lottery, debt collection, or similar.Products and services which are not sold in accordance with merchant agreements for Dankort, Visa/Dankort and eDankort
Note that companies/merchants may not use merchant agreements for Dankort, Visa/Dankort and eDankort from Nets for gaming, lottery, debt collection or similar purposes.Requirements for your website
The name of your business must be clearly written everywhere on your site. Your customers must at no point experience difficulty in distinguishing the name of your business from that of suppliers of goods and services. In addition, it must be quite clear that your business is responsible for card transactions, goods and services sold, customer service, complaints and all other aspects of trading. These requirements are also contained in the merchant agreement.Required information about the actual business
- Name (ordinary name and name of legal entity) and address (not PO box)
- Telephone number (and possible email address) of contact person
- Description of the merchant\ís goods/services, including prices, taxes and charges
- It must be clear to your customers that they can pay by card.
- You must display the logos of the cards which can be used for payment.
- If you use 3-D Secure, you must display the logos of the international card companies
Required information in the order form (shopping basket)
- Unambiguous description of the ordered goods/services and price
- The total amount to be paid by the customer (including specification of any taxes, shipping costs and other charges)
- It must be clear that payment is being made by payment card
- It must state the currency being used for payment
- Expected delivery date
- The name of the recipient
- The delivery address (may not be a PO box)
- Clear trading terms (including rules for the right to return goods and who should pay the return invoice if the buyer cancels the purchase). The trading terms must be accepted prior to the actual payment process.
Required details on the customer's receipt
- The name of your business
- A description of the ordered goods/services
- Order number
- Purchase date (transaction date)
- Transaction currency
- Transaction number
- Delivery date
- That payment has been made
Requirements relating to the entering of payment card details
- It must not be possible to enter unencrypted data. This is shown with a yellow padlock at the bottom of the browser.
- It must not be possible to enter a PIN-code.
- It must not be possible to send card details via unencrypted email.
